Georges Mouchantaf was born in Lebanon in 1951 and has lived and worked in London, Muscat, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Trained in hotel management, he went on to build businesses in car rental, baking and catering, modeling and talent conventions, and home remodeling, and he has hiked in Nepal, Africa and South America, canoed the Amazon, journeyed to Antarctica and backpacked through Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Those years among different cultures shape the international settings, romance and humor of his novels. He began writing at fourteen, returned to it seriously in the late 1990s, and at seventy-five decided it was time to stop keeping his stories to himself. He is the author of The Island Series, beginning with A Spy, a Girl and an Island, and of many other novels and stories.
An eternal romantic and optimist who has never taken himself too seriously, Georges is married with two children and lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He does not see this as the end of a long journey. He sees it as the beginning of a new one.
Written over more than thirty years, these novels are now being published one by one. Follow Georges Mouchantaf on Amazon to hear when each new book is released.
